Administration

MOPAR® CAP is available in colleges and universities nationwide. The purpose of MOPAR CAP is to provide Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT® dealers with technicians that receive extensive automotive training and product knowledge while earning their college degree.

While attending MOPAR CAP, students learn on Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT® vehicles, utilize tools, equipment and diagnostic processes that are used every day by technicians currently working in our Chrysler Dealer Network. In as little as 18 months, students can earn a two-year associate’s degree in Automotive Technology (or equivalent).

In addition to the college education, students receive “real life” experiences while completing internships at their sponsoring dealerships, further improving their education process with MOPAR CAP. As the student rotates between the college and dealer internship periods they establish a great working relationship with their dealer sponsor and develop the much needed product knowledge required to be successful in the automotive service industry.

Upon completion of MOPAR CAP, graduates complete and receive training credit for many courses in the FCA Performance Institute Technical Training Curriculum. In fact, it is not uncommon for MOPAR CAP graduates to receive training credit up to level 2 courses in many of the FCA Performance Institute Technical Training Skill Core Curriculum skill areas.
