  • Average dealership technician earns $40,650/yr with the top 10 percent of technicians earning an average of $59,590/yr.

  • Automotive Service Consultant: $37,000 to $67,000 Annually – Interpret customer needs for technicians

  • Service Manager: $65,000 to $100,000 Annually – Oversees the service department operations

  • Service Dispatcher: $35,000 to $65,000 Annually – Scheduling all the work in the shop

  • Service Director: $75,000 to $125,000 Annually – Establishing operational procedures/policies and implements advertising and marketing
